Accredited with Conditions



The classification of "Accredited with Conditions" is granted to an educational program with major deficiencies or weaknesses with reference to the standards of accreditation. This classification indicates that the educational effectiveness of the program is in jeopardy.

  • The June 18, 2011 decision of the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) to grant the "Accredited with Conditions" probationary classification to the Residency in Primary Eye Care at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon, Puerto Rico became final on August 20, 2011.
