Optometry: Journal of the American Optometric Association is distributed to over 34,000 AOA member optometrists, as well as independent subscribers throughout the world. The Journal objectively presents original research studies, results of independent study, and ongoing professional commentaries by and for optometrists and other professionals in medical and optometry-related fields. Optometry offers historical perspectives, current and topical case reports and clinical investigation, and timely and pertinent information of relevance to and for consideration and potential application by optometrists, professionals in related fields of health care, and the members of the Association. The Practice Strategies section of Optometry: Journal of the American Optometric Association is published to help AOA-member optometrists build successful practices, manage them more efficiently in today's health care environment, increase their business skills, and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the business of health care. Practice Strategies covers practice management issues in depth and in detail, with a strong "how-to" emphasis.
