Career Advocate for the New Practitioner








If you’re feeling unprepared for the real world, you’re not alone. Interviews with optometry students across the United States reveal widespread interest in information about practice and a need for help in making the transition from optometry school to practice. Testimony from recent graduates reveals that those who have been the most successful in making the transition have taken the time, early in optometry school, to gather information, plan, and prepare.
