Continuing education is not only one of the most important benefits a Paraoptometric Section member can take part in, but it is also one of the most valued according to the 2008 Member Survey. Education is important to paraoptometrics of all certification levels, as well as new staff or non-certified staff. Most CE is designed to keep optometric staff abreast of the latest developments in patient care, new products in industry, general knowledge of eye health and career advancement. The Section provides many opportunities to obtain CEfor members and non-members alike.
