CLCS Student-Resident Photo Contest Travel Grant



Students and Residents are invited to submit and outstanding digital image.

The image may be clinical, abstract, action, etc-paired with a brief case report that involves contact lenses and anterior segment topics. The best part-students/residents may submit MORE than one entry!

Photo topics may include: Care and Compliance in Contact Lens Success: Contemporary Management of Ocular Surface Disease: Contemporary Management of Astigmatism: Contact Lens Problem- Solving Beyond Oxygen: and Most Challenging Contact Lens Case.

What do you get out of it you ask...ONE overall winner will receive a $1,500.00 travel grant to attend Optometry's Meeting, a TROPHY with the students name engraved along with their schools name to be displayed proudly at their school. The trophy will travel each year to the school of the overall winner; PLUS the overall winner will receive an AOA Gallery Print (20' X 24") canvas of their image too!

  • Step One: indicate in the email subject line 'CLCS Photo Contest'
  • Step Two: include your 'original digital image' with your name on the file, and case report with your contact info (student-resident name/school name or residence/email & phone number) in the header.
  • Step Three: include the photo release form and the W-9 ( for Canada or Puerto Rico submission please use the W-8 International form).
